Red Mountain's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Queen Creek Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. The Mountain Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Red Mountain never let Queen Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-17.

Red Mountain now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Queen Creek, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Looking ahead, Red Mountain is taking a road trip to take on Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Mountain Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Queen Creek, they will be playing at home against Williams Field at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Black Hawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
