The Sedan Devils entered their tilt with the Caldwell Bluejays with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Sedan took down Caldwell 66-48 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sedan also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Caldwell lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jackson Risley, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Miles Newell, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Sedan's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Caldwell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Sedan will play host again and welcome Flinthills, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Flinthills will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while Sedan is ranked 153rd). Caldwell's road trip will continue as they head out to face South Haven at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. South Haven is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
