This season hasn't been kind to the IMG Academy Blue Ascenders, who are still winless after their sixth game. They lost to Southwest Florida Christian at home by a decisive 39-21 margin on Thursday.
IMG Academy Blue's loss came despite strong showings from JAMES OLSEN and ERIC HUANG. OLSEN picked up 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while HUANG threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns.
Eli Moore had an outrageously good game for Southwest Florida Christian as he rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Tanner, who gained 124 total yards and two touchdowns.
IMG Academy Blue has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 0-6 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.7 points per game. As for Southwest Florida Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
IMG Academy Blue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southwest Florida Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
