The Eisenhower Knights will challenge the Seneca Bobcats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eisenhower has five straight wins, Seneca has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Eisenhower is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Union City to the tune of 48-6 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Knights with their most commanding win of the season.

Those 135 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Nolan Gesing, who rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Eisenhower was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 286 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards in ten consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Seneca duked it out with Fairview on Thursday. The Bobcats fell 19-7 to the Tigers. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 7-0 in the first quarter.
Despite the loss, Seneca saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zach Moats rushed for 89 yards and one TD.
Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Eisenhower, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Saturday's contest might be decided on the ground. Eisenhower has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 274.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Seneca struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 163 rushing yards. There's a good chance Saturday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Eisenhower couldn't quite get it done against Seneca in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 27-14. Will the Knights have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other football content.
