Hastings barely beat Ardsley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellow Jackets were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Panthers on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Jackson Acree spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Andrew Rizzo, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Kieran McGrath, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The win got Hastings back to even at 2-2. As for Ardsley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hastings will challenge Scarsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ardsley, they will face off against Sleepy Hollow at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
