The Cahokia Comanches will square off against the Sycamore Spartans at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cahokia is coming into the  game hot, having won their last six games.

 Nigel Gooden had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 70 yards and one  touchdown, while also throwing for 187 yards and one  TD. Those  70  rushing yards gave  him a new career-high.

 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 34  points the game before, Sycamore was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They were  outmatched by Morris and fell  50-10. The  game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 Cahokia's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Sycamore, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
 Cahokia was dealt a bruising  52-14 defeat at the hands of Sycamore in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024. That  contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Comanches were down  25-0.
