Chaparral lost a heartbreaker the last time they played ThunderRidge, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Grizzlies on Friday. Considering the Wolverines have won six games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chaparral got a big performance out of Tommy Humphrey, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Josh McWilliams, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.

Chaparral kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Chaparral's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-8. As for ThunderRidge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Legend at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for ThunderRidge, they will face off against Fossil Ridge at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The SaberCats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
