On Friday Ipswich/Edmunds Central take on Kimball/White Lake at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Ipswich/Edmunds Central suffered a grim 2-27 defeat to Warner last Friday.
Meanwhile, we expected Kimball/White Lake to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Wolsey-Wessington, and they did. Kimball/White Lake ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-42 walloping at Wolsey-Wessington's hands. Kimball/White Lake were down by 6-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. The Ipswich/Edmunds Central defense got after the quarterback against Warner to the tune of nine sacks, so Kimball/White Lake's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the contest.
