It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Noblesville Millers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They secured a 49-45 W over the Royals. The win was nothing new for Noblesville as they're now sitting on five straight.
Noblesville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Shoemaker out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Reagan Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Despite the defeat, Hamilton Southeastern saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Holman scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Stidham, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Noblesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 22-4.
Noblesville and the Panthers will face off at 4:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Fort Wayne Snider's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. Hamilton Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
