After a string of four wins, The Laguna Creek Cardinals''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 48-7 loss at the hands of Grant. The low total for Laguna Creek limited their streak of high-flying scores to five in a row.
Mitchell Labrado punched in a rushing score. Ryan Eddy was his top target, picking up 102 receiving yards.
Grant was led to victory by Wayshawn Parker and Luke Alexander . Parker rushed for 189 yards on only eight carries, while Alexander threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Parker really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run. Aric Anderson also helped out as he racked up 129 receiving yards.
Laguna Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Grant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Laguna Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grant also has no future games currently scheduled.
