With a playoff win on the line, Reeltown rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights to the tune of 49-13. Considering the Rebels have won ten matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
A big part of Reeltown's win came down to the chemistry between Jamarkius Smith and his top target Tae Martin. Smith threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes while Martin gained 146 total yards and two touchdowns. Reeltown also got a significant boost from Traylen Roberts, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 97 yards.
Reeltown was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 288 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tuscaloosa Academy only rushed for -22 rushing yards.
