This season hasn't been kind to the West Nassau Warriors, who are still winless after their 15th match. They took a serious blow against Eagle's View on Tuesday, falling 65-32. While losing is never fun, West Nassau can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 743rd, while Eagle's View is ranked 323rd).
West Nassau's loss came despite strong showings from Brady Thrift and Earl Moore. Thrift scored ten points, while Moore scored seven points.
Eagle's View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaycen Lowery out in front who scored 20 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lowery has scored all season. Marcus Carter was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
West Nassau dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Eagle's View, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
West Nassau will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgeview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgeview is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Eagle's View, they will face off against Sarasota Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
