Jefferson waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Whitewater Whippets as they made off with a 13-1 victory. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Whitewater, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Jefferson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Whitewater: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
