Baseball Recap: Willow Spring Takes a Loss

Willow Spring lost to Green Hope back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm fell 6-2 to the Falcons. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willow Spring got a good showing from Brayden Battocletti, who pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Battocletti has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Willow Spring saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Randolph, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Willow Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Green Hope, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Willow Spring wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Broughton on the 9th. Hopefully Green Hope paid attention to the Storm's contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
