Raton fell to Aztec 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Taos and Laguna Acoma played the closest game in 3A District 2 this week, with Taos eventually emerging with a 18-12 victory. Kevin McCarty threw for 42 yards in the win.
Robertson's dynamic duo of Nathan Lesperance and Dominic Lucero proved tough for Santa Rosa to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lesperance threw for 119 yards and Lucero had 46 yards receiving. Joe Armijo helped Robertson's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 49 yards.

Isaac Gonzales was the best running back in the league this week. In 18 carries, he ran for 58 yards as the Tigers fell to Mario Trujillo's team.
Lucero was the best wideout in the league this week as the Cardinals lost to the Lions.
Thanks to the talents of McCarty and Gonzales, Taos has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. McCarty is tops in the league in passing with 305 yards, while Gonzales has rushed for 231 yards this season. Tops in the league in receving yards is Robertson's James Gonzales III, with 113 yards on 3 catches.
The Cardinals made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,283 from 8,805. The improvement came about via a 24-8 victory over Robertson last week.
