Drake Lindsey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fayetteville, throwing for 265 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Lindsey is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Christian Setzer was another key contributor, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
Springdale has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Fayetteville, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springdale will square off against Bentonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville, they will head out on the road to face off against Rogers Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Rogers Heritage: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Fayetteville has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
