There's no place like home for the Tipton Cardinals, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Vienna 72-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Tipton has posted yet this season.
Tipton found their leader in underclassman Dane Schlotzhauer, who scored 26 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Schlotzhauer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zach Moon, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds.
Tipton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Vienna, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Tipton will head out on the road to challenge Northwest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vienna will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bourbon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
