Bishop LeBlond let Christian Anderson and Jake Winkelbauer run wild. Anderson went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double, while Winkelbauer got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Winkelbauer has become a key player for Bishop LeBlond: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 9-11 otherwise. Jackson CDeBaca was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cameron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Lawson on Monday by a score of 5-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Gannon Hamilton made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carter Flick, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
With the win, Bishop LeBlond broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-12. As for Cameron, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13.
Bishop LeBlond couldn't quite get it done against Cameron in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 5-2. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
