5A Region II District 14 recap September 4, 2013
A&M Consolidated was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in 5A Region II District 14. The Tigers vanquished Copperas Cove 44-41 earlier in the week.
Oak Ridge scaled the state rankings by moving to 382 from 640 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The War Eagles were able to make move up by besting Cypress Falls 37-16.
Brandon Jackson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as A&M Consolidated defeated the Bulldawgs. Jackson's favorite target this week was Daniel Zivney, who caught 8 passes for 120 yards.
Jackson was the best running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 115 yards as David Raffield's team defeated Copperas Cove. Kobe Miller also contributed to the rushing game with 23 yards on the ground.
Colton Farmer put up the best numbers through the air as College Park beat Livingston. He finished with a total of 4 completions for 59 yards and 2 touchdowns. Farmer's favorite target this week was Jayden Holden, who caught 2 passes for 25 yards.
Zivney was the best wideout in 5A Region II District 14 this week as the Tigers topped Jack Welch's team. Kerry Thomas helped A&M Consolidated's passing attack out by catching 9 balls for 91 yards.

A&M Consolidated and the Bulldawgs played the closest game in the league this week, with A&M Consolidated eventually emerging with a 44-41 victory. Jackson caught 1 passes for 35 yards during the win.
