The Tree of Life Christian Trojans kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 41-23 fall against Northridge.
Northridge found their leader in underclassman Ava Travis, who scored 23 points along with 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruby Cermak, who scored 5 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals.
Tree of Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tree of Life Christian will take on Heath at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
