While Trinity-Pawling School might've come up empty on Wednesday, Ty Petras wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Petras was still locked in as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Petras and Trinity-Pawling School will be playing at home against Loomis Chaffee School at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pride have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since April of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
