The Rocket City Falcons can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They blew past Cornerstone Christian 75-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rocket City also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Kai Parsons continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lucian Borchers, who scored 18 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds.
Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Cornerstone Christian, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rocket City has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bradley Knights at 5:00 p.m. on December 16th. Cornerstone Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clay County Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Clay County Christian Academy is ranked 284th, while Cornerstone Christian is ranked 290th).
