After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwest Christian, Proctor was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks 14-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rails' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Proctor's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Grand Rapids, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Proctor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against Cloquet on the 13th. As for Grand Rapids, they have also already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Marshall on the 13th.
