Brighton posted their closest victory since November 8, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Alta Hawks 28-25. The Bengals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Brighton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayce Evans, who picked up 106 receiving yards and two TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Judah Naweli, who rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Despite the defeat, Alta had strong showings from Tucker Brown, who threw for 247 yards and a pair of TDs, and Evan Morton, who picked up 136 receiving yards and one score.

Brighton pushed their record up to 5-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.7 points over those games. As for Alta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alta, they will take on Roy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will be up against the Royals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
