Anderson C has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the New Hope Leadership Academy Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Anderson C will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 555th, while New Hope Leadership Academy is ranked 220th).
Anderson C pushed their score all the way to 81 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They suffered a rough 104-81 defeat at the hands of Georgia Force Christian. Anderson C was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 61-28.
Meanwhile, even though Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 65 points last Saturday, New Hope Leadership Academy still came out on top. New Hope Leadership Academy walked away with a 73-65 win over Varsity Opponent.
Sugar Eaton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 55 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. BJ Perkins was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Anderson C has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for New Hope Leadership Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Anderson C couldn't quite finish off New Hope Leadership Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 and fell 47-45.
