The Middlesex Chargers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Mathews Blue Devils at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Middlesex has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 36 goals over their last four contests.
 Middlesex can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-0 margin over King & Queen Central. Even though Middlesex was hit with a red card (from  Grant Walden), the team's aggressive strategy still got them the 'W'.
 Middlesex's offense was hitting King & Queen Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. 
 Marek Hanscom led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.
 Meanwhile, Mathews came up short against Westmoreland on Monday and fell  5-3.
 Middlesex pushed their record up to 4-0 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. As for Mathews, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
 Middlesex beat Mathews 3-1  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Does  Middlesex have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mathews turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
