Heritage Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braydon Durham led the charge by rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Jett Goldsberry was another key contributor, rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard stacked a tenth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Knox for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-14 win at home. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's win was all the more impressive since Knox was averaging only 16.57 points allowed on the season.
Heritage Hills' victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.4 points per game. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.
Heritage Hills was taken down by Indianapolis Bishop Chatard 34-3 in their previous meeting back in November of 2019. Thankfully for Heritage Hills, Daylen Taylor (who rushed for 161 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
