Make it seven blowout wins for the Rochester School for the Deaf Wildcats this season. They really took it to Varsity Opponent for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-26 win at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Rochester School for the Deaf as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Rochester School for the Deaf's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kalena Sickler, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sickler has scored all season. Evangeline Fisher-Palmer was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five assists and three blocks.
Rochester School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 113-400.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester School for the Deaf will take on the at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
