Logan is 2-8 against Tatum since August of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Logan Longhorns will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tatum Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Logan faced Melrose in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Logan was outmatched by Melrose at home and fell 54-0. It was the first time this season that Logan let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Tatum came up short against Clayton on Friday and fell 40-28.
Tatum's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carlos Martinez, who rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, and Anthony Duffy who picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Logan's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. Tatum has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Logan couldn't quite finish off Tatum in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 and fell 8-6. Will Logan have more luck at home instead of on the road?
