Redlands East Valley fell to Rancho Cucamonga 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Yucaipa led Citrus Belt in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on Yucaipa.
The Thunderbirds' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tanner Ward threw for 285 and 5 touchdowns and Brandon Scott had 215 yards receiving. On the ground Dakota Smith contributed 81 yards. Erik Abrams helped Yucaipa's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 56 yards.
Scott had a great week catching the football as Yucaipa lost to Charter Oak. He caught 16 passes for 215 yards.
He went 25-41 with 2 interceptions.
Smith was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 81 yards on 17 carries as Justin Price's team lost to the Chargers. Abrams also contributed to the rushing game with 40 yards on the ground.
6-foot-0 quarterback Armando Herrera of the Wildcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,637. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Scott. The Yucaipa star has 64 catches for 1,260 yards.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of the Thunderbirds' Ward. He connected with Scott on a 63-yard throw and catch as Yucaipa lost to Charter Oak.
