Jackson has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will challenge the Pontiac Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Jackson at home against Central as the squad secured a 74-39 victory.
Jackson relied on the efforts of Ja-Savion Westbrook , who scored 12 points, and Koronnis Davis, who scored 14 points. The contest was Davis' third in a row with at least ten points. Darrion Weller was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Meanwhile, Pontiac made easy work of Southfield Christian on Friday and carried off a 72-50 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pontiac.
Jackson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Pontiac, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Jackson strolled past Pontiac when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a score of 59-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
