The Mandeville Skippers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Maurepas Wolves at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The timing is sure in Mandeville's favor as the  team sits on seven straight wins at home while Maurepas has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
 On Wednesday, while Mandeville put up plenty of  runs, the same  can't be said for Hammond. Mandeville was the clear victor by  a  15-0 margin over Hammond. 15 seems to be a good number for Mandeville as the  squad scooped up a  win with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Kara Henry was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Henry has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Henry was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Savannah Windham was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.  Hailey Marange was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-1.
 Meanwhile, Maurepas fell victim to a  rough 18-2 defeat at the hands of Holden  on Monday.
 Mandeville's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Maurepas, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
 Everything went Mandeville's way against Maurepas in their previous matchup  back in April of 2018 as Mandeville made off with  a  9-0 win. Will Mandeville repeat their success,  or does  Maurepas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
