The NCSSM: Durham Unicorns can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Wednesday. They blew past Research Triangle 63-10 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as NCSSM: Durham also won the last time the pair played back in January.
NCSSM: Durham was led to victory by Parker Wildman and Maren Donlon. Wildman scored eight points along with four steals, while Donlon scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Donlon hasn't dropped below 15 points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Catherine Todd, who scored six points.
NCSSM: Durham has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Research Triangle, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NCSSM: Durham will face off against Raleigh Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully NCSSM: Durham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Wednesday. As for Research Triangle, they will head out on the road to take on East Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Research Triangle is coming into the contest with six straight defeats on the road, meaning East Wake Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
