It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Strathmore Spartans had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They snuck past Woodlake with a 27-21 win. The win was nothing new for Strathmore as they're now sitting on three straight.
Strathmore got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Poole out in front who rushed for 163 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 56 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Bias, who threw for 170 yards and two touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes.
