The North Pocono Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. North Pocono is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
While North Pocono didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Delaware Valley 10-3 on Monday. Considering the Trojans have won three contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
North Pocono got a great performance from Nick Reese as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Reese has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jake Reese was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aidan Bassi, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Plymouth Whitemarsh made sure to put some runs up on the board against Central Bucks East on Wednesday. The Colonials were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Patriots. The match marked the Colonials' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Bobby Pasquarello tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Eagland, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Reilly, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.
Plymouth Whitemarsh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
North Pocono's record is now 7-2. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, their record now sits at 4-5.
