Thomas Jefferson had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 11-14 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the John Ehret Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Thomas Jefferson has posted since February 13th.
Gunnar Dupre was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
