Kyle Cox Goes Supernova in Sandhills/Thedford Victory
Kyle Cox was instrumental in extending Sandhills/Thedford's winning streak to 15 on Friday. Cox was dynamite, rushing for 153 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Cox might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mullen on Thursday. When Cox last faced the Broncos back in October of 2023, he rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.

Reyes Came Up Big in Maxwell's 45-42 Loss
Jesse Reyes posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Maxwell dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats faces off against Bayard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alex Werner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (113) per game.
Werner and Mullen will venture away from home to square off against Sandhills/Thedford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Werner will face off against Maurice Robinson, the Knights' star running back. Underclassman Beau Rice Comes Up Big Against Bayard
While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Thursday was Beau Rice. He turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown.incredibly, Rice got all that yardage with just one huge grab
The win got Hyannis back to even at 3-3. Rice will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Brady on Friday.

Tate Kvanvig's Big Game Leads Mullen over Maxwell
The second Mullen player making an appearance here is Tate Kvanvig, and for good reason. He rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Kvanvig and Mullen will take on Sandhills/Thedford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kvanvig will face off against Maurice Robinson, the Knights' star RB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
