Pearl River came into Monday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed by Mt. Hermon at home to the tune of 70-43 on Monday. The victory was just what Pearl River needed coming off of a 86-48 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Lakeshore scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Livingston Collegiate Academy, posting a 87-55 win on the road. Lakeshore has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeshore to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Janssen, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Janssen has scored all season. Caiden Bickham was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Pearl River's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-15. As for Lakeshore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-10.
