The Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls lost against the Harrison Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mt. Healthy fell just short of Harrison by a score of 56-53. Mt. Healthy has not had much luck with Harrison recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harrison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donovan Mckain, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mckain has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tucker Ward, who scored ten points.
Mt. Healthy bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Harrison, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Mt. Healthy will be home for the holidays to greet Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goshen knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully Mt. Healthy likes a good challenge. As for Harrison, they will head out on the road to face off against Monroe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
