Tapestry is 9-1 against Global Concepts since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Tapestry Thunderhawks will head out on the road to take on the Global Concepts Gators. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of three wins, Tapestry's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cleveland Hill.
Meanwhile, Global Concepts was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 46-41 to Cleveland Hill.
Despite their loss, Global Concepts saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Darius Brown ii, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine assists, was perhaps the best of all. Brown ii hasn't dropped below three steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Anthuan Villalobo, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Tapestry's record is now 6-4. Global Concepts' record now sits at 5-11.
Tapestry beat Global Concepts 61-49 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tapestry since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
