Despite the loss, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill still got an impressive performance from Atticus Roque, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Degaragen Paradis, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Vernon-Verona-Sherrill's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Oneida, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Holland Patent presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Oneida in New York (Holland Patent is ranked 180th, while Oneida is ranked 383rd).
