Bryan is a perfect 5-0 against Liberty Center since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Bears will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Bryan made easy work of Napoleon and carried off an 8-1 victory. The Golden Bears haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Thea Staten was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than 11 strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Averyann Fisher was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. MacKenzie Blevins was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Bryan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Napoleon only posted a batting average of .083.
Meanwhile, Liberty Center hadn't done well against Wauseon recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 22-16 margin over the Indians. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Like Bryan, Liberty Center also got a great game from a two-way player: Mackenzie Fuller. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and nine unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). Fuller was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and one stolen base. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bailey Crow, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Zeiter, who got on base in three of her six plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Bryan's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty Center, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bryan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. However, it's not like Liberty Center struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bryan beat Liberty Center 3-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Golden Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
