Thompson won the last time they faced Grafton and Charlie Yon did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tommies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 victory over the Spoilers on Friday thanks in part to Yon, who rushed for 105 yards and two TDs. Thompson is 4-1 when Yon posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Thompson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Grafton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Thompson will be playing at home against Carrington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grafton, they will challenge Langdon/Edmore/Munich on Friday. Grafton will need to watch out since Langdon/Edmore/Munich has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
