Fairview is 10-0 against North East since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Fairview Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the North East Grape Pickers at 7:30 p.m. Fairview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 454th, while North East is ranked 210th).
Last Friday, Fairview came up short against Girard and fell 49-36. Fairview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, North East waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. Everything went their way against Iroquois as North East made off with a 56-33 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory North East has posted against Iroquois since January 3, 2020.
Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for North East, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.
Fairview came out on top in a nail-biter against North East in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, sneaking past 62-60. Does Fairview have another victory up their sleeve, or will North East turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
