The Columbia Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They lost to Bingham on the road by a decisive 64-49 margin. While losing is never fun, Columbia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 81st in Idaho, while Bingham is ranked ninth in Utah).
Bingham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addy Horsley led the charge by scoring 21 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Badonie, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds.

Columbia and Bishop Kelly will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bingham will finish 2023 at home by hosting Pleasant Grove at 2:30 p.m. on December 29th.
