The Wall Hawks had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Roosevelt 35-6 on the road. Wall's victory was all the more impressive since Roosevelt was averaging only 17.62 points allowed on the season.
Luke Kemp was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown. Kemp was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards. Nathan Pepper and his 100 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Wall's victory.
The victory was the eighth in a row for Wall, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
Wall will take on Canadian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Canadian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
