Omaha Westside is 8-1 against Lincoln North Star since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Navigators. Omaha Westside's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Lincoln North Star's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Omaha Westside is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Millard North, who was ranked tenth at the time (Omaha Westside was ranked 22nd). The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Omaha Westside got a great performance from Reid Beberniss as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Beberniss also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Warriors are undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 6-12 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Schulz, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024.
Lincoln North Star never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lincoln High on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Links with a sharp 12-1 victory. Considering the Navigators' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Davis Carter tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
On the hitting side, Kaden Klein was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Beals, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Lincoln North Star hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in six consecutive games.
Omaha Westside's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Lincoln North Star, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
