If Castle View wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Valor Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Chase Hanosh. The Eagles really took it to the Sabercats for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-0 victory for which the team can thank Hanosh, who rushed for 126 yards and two TDs on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Valor Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cash Spence and Roger Garey. Valor Christian received some extra help from Tobyn Casten, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Valor Christian, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Wilson Ptacek, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Valor Christian's record is now 5-2. As for Castle View, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Valor Christian will host ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Castle View, they will head out on the road to take on Rock Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sabercats are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
