On the hitting side, Tyler Tindall was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Blaise Desanto was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley won against Pottstown on Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Vikings didn't even let Pottsgrove on the board, marking the Vikings' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.
Colin Roeser looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Eli Paradise was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Chase Kelly, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Perkiomen Valley hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pottsgrove struck out seven times.
Pope John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Perkiomen Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
