The Howard Hawks's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 41-40 photo finish over Tapestry Charter. For Howard, this counts as revenge for the 50-31 defeat Tapestry Charter walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Sam Schulman, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Michael Davis, who scored 11 points.
Despite the loss, Tapestry Charter still got an impressive performance from Kingston Willingham, who scored 18 points. Makhi Miller was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The win got Howard back to even at 4-4. As for Tapestry Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Howard will take on Cumberland Academy of Georgia at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cumberland Academy of Georgia comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Tapestry Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
